I interviewed a lot of in home daycares for months, i never felt comfortable with any of them. (first time mom!)
I met Vanessa at her home and felt immediately at ease.
The home is super clean, really sparkling. and very well childproofed.
I never understood how 1 person could watch so many kids, but she seems amazing at it.
my 20mos old daughter has been going through the clingy mommy phase & cranky from teething. she's also tough to get napping unless she's comfy witha situation.
I started her at ABC last week.
She had no problems whatsoever from day 1. She seems to really like Vanessa and the kids. When I drop her off she doesn't care! lol!
and when we pick her up, she doesn't want to leave- she wants us to stay and play with her there.
She takes her naps there with no trouble at all.
Vanessa is full of energy, young, trained as a medical assistant, she works well with kids. She also knows how to reassure a first time mom who freaks out about everything.
I like that she feeds the kids because if they each ate something different then my daughter wouldn't eat her food because she'd want what someone else had.
I'm really happy with this daycare.
and I feel comfortable knowing my daughter is in good hands.
Also, Petaluma Valley Hospital is right down the street. So if, god forbid, it was needed, the emergency room is literally right down the street, within a few minutes of a stroller push. less than a 1 minute drive away.

My son, now 2, has been with Vanessa at ABC Home Daycare for ten months and I couldn't be happier. She is calm, warm, and attentive. She has worked with us to manage his dietary restrictions and sometimes fussy nap schedule. Her home is always spotless and I love that she is constantly changing things around to keep the kids interested. She brings in music and gymnastics and puts together engaging art activities, all of which my little one has really enjoyed. Vanessa is also flexible and accommodating, opening early and also staying a little later as we needed. My son talks about Vanessa when he's not there and clearly enjoys his time there. I couldn't recommend her more highly.!

Vanessa has been watching my son for about 8 months now, and she is amazing. He started going to her when he was 7 months old. It's always nerve wracking finding a daycare provider, especially when your child is still an infant. Vanessa was great with him and I immediately felt comfortable leaving him in her care. He has thrived under her watch and I can see that even though he's an only child, he plays very well with other kids, shares his toys, etc. I know that's her doing. Her house is immaculate, with great play spaces both indoors and out. My son has had occasional dietary restrictions, which she has always followed as well. My work schedule also changes daily, and she's extremely flexible in letting me pick him up and drop him off at different times, almost every day! AND she has watched my son on an occasional Saturday as well, which is amazing and has saved me from having to find a babysitter. All in all, I highly recommend Vanessa to anyone looking for a quality in-home daycare.

We had a great experience with ABC daycare. Our daughter attended for about a year (she started at 18 months). Jose and Vanessa are warm and welcoming and it is obvious they love working with children. Their home is incredibly clean and organized, filled with curated baby and toddler toys and play structures. The kids have busy days filled with crafts, indoor and outdoor play, and story time. I would highly recommend this daycare!

My twins will be two in May and have been at ABC Daycare since they were four months old. In that time, Vanessa and Jose have created a warm and loving environment where my twins received nurturing attention and care. Putting your children in daycare, especially at such a young age, is a very scary thing. We toured several other providers and struggled with how impersonal and institutional many centers felt, and how disorganized and overly casual several home daycares seemed. In ABC Daycare we found the safety and organization of a formal center combined with the love and personalization of a home environment. It's the best of both worlds. My twins are always happy to go to daycare and look forward to seeing Vanessa and Jose. It's reassuring to know they are in such good hands.
